Things to do in Es Canar

Beach Visits

Es Cana is encircled by a long, horseshoe-shaped beach of golden sand, gently kissed by clean waves. There is a small port at one end which serves as a dock for boats. This beach is perfect for families since it is large and calm, allowing children to safely play in the shallow waters. Despite being visited by a diverse range of tourists, it is particularly popular with British families and couples due to its well-equipped and beautiful coast.

Watersports

There are a number of watersports centres available online where you can rent equipment for numerous water activities. One of which is Ski Pepe which offers parasailing flights, as well as kayak, pedal boat, and paddle surfboard rentals. With these activities, you can have an entire day of fun with your family and friends while enjoying the wonderful view of Es Canar’s bay.

Dine

One of the most famous dining places in the area is Prince Albert, a family-owned restaurant that serves homemade meals. They are known for their delectable fish and chips, pizzas, and hamburgers. They also offer a selection of gins and fine whiskies to their patrons. The food is well-prepped, making sure that each dish that leaves their kitchen is of a high standard.

Another must-visit is La Finca Can Suldat, which is a short walk from Es Canar Center. The interior of the restaurant is striking, with lashings of candlelight, artificial flowers, and an eclectic mix of boho décor. The courtyard dining area is also laden with a collection of heavy wax drippings under a canopy straddled with vines giving it a magical and rustic vibe. They have the menu presented on a plank of wood, and the signature dishes include Can Suldat entrecote, house goulash, and cheese fondue.

Sight-seeing

The seascape facing the beaches of Es Canar and Cala Nova is enhanced by the lovely promenade that runs down the shoreline. Due to the gentle slope of the seafloor, both beaches are perfect for short dips where you can take snapshots with your family or friends.

The terrain surrounding the tourist centre is surrounded by breathtaking views just begging to be captured and added to your gallery. Tourists may take route 1 and cycling routes 3 and 5 to discover Ibiza’s ancient farmhouses and fields, which boast beautiful fig and carob trees.

Shopping

Es Canar is one of Ibiza’s top vacation spots due to its proximity to the town of Santa Eularia des Riu and its oldest and largest market, the Hippy Market of Punta Arab. This market first opened its doors in the summer of 1973 and now has approximately stalls selling crafts, accessories, fashion, jewellery, and other items.

Situated in the middle of a dynamic and cosmopolitan setting, Punta Arab is the melting pot for artisans and artists from all around the world. It is the island's largest hippy market, with over 500 stalls set up in a lovely setting surrounded by pine trees. The market is divided into many sections, including a children's area, a 'street of artisans' (where attendees may listen to live music while seeing things being manufactured), a huge tent for concerts, and a section for young designers with innovative handmade products.
